Recycled "Desert" Glass Art

Recycled Glass Art is an original concept of R  Desert Studio.

These art works are made from bits and pieces collected from the past. Since no two are alike, what is pictured is only a representation of the variety that we have. In other words, you will have a "one-of-a-kind" piece of art created by R  Desert Studio. Every piece will be something special.

Over the years we have hunted in our local desert for old treasures, but didn't know what to do with our finds. We were stained glass artists and the majority of what we were picking up was very old glass, so we decided to use them as a focal point in our creativity. In keeping with where we live, we focused on a western theme for part of our artistic designs and animals that are common to our area. We choose pieces of glass and metal to create each project from our findings; which makes each and every one a "one of kind" piece of art. For example, our shapes include guns, rifles, hats, boots, tractors, quail and more. Check out our desert glass creations on this page.
